Wildlife & Countryside Artist
The Painter's Progress
Welcome to my website.
I'm hoping this website will herald a new era in my painting journey - my paintings have previously been very detailed: a legacy from my graphic design and illustration days. I would like to develop a looser style of painting and to help me along this path I recently came across blogs from, the 'daily painters' - artists who try and produce a painting a day.
For myself - a 'weekly painter' - would be more apt. The idea is to work on a small scale and I thought this would be a good way to explore the world of oil paints and to hone my drawing skills.
So, although the title on this page says wildlife & countryside artist; I will be painting some still life as well and going a little off- piste. l hope you enjoy following my progress, as much as I'm looking forward to the challenges.
