I've had a couple of palette knives sitting around for quite a few years ... which have only been used for mixing paint colours and most recently, applying putty to the studio windows! I was becoming frustrated by my progress with the land and seascapes and re-worked a couple of the seascapes with the palette knife .... enjoyed the experience and was pleased with the results.
